Hollywood Young Parties!

This weekend Neutrogena had their "Fresh Faces Music Event" with Hayden Panettierre, Vanessa Hudgens, among the hostesses since they are both spokespersons. While Teen Vogue celebrated their 7th annual Young Hollywood party at Milk Studios. It was indeed a very Hot & Young weekend.

My Best Emmy After-Party and...

Is not because I'm just obsessed with True Blood but - surprisingly - I really LOVED the HBO Emmy after-party. Is not my usual preference since I'm a modern lady but the: Classical, elegant & fancy concept really worked great.

While the Governor's Ball is usually all of the above things and it was well executed, I just didn't love the Carnival colors...Just a tad too much. What do U think? Do U agree?

Emmy's After-Parties!

The Emmy's were great but the after-parties (apparently) where better! Mary J Blige at the ET/People party, while Seth (Family Guy's) creator was joined on stage by Adam Levine at the Fox bash and apparently HBO was a star-studded HOT party as well, with Jamie-Lynn, Emmanuelle, plus a couple of my FAV True Blood stars!

From Comedy to Dancing...the 2009 Emmy's!

Kudos to Neil Patrick Harris for a job well done!  All Pro's: modern stage, dance numbers and the very touching and special "In Memoriam" tribute by Sarah McLachlan.

Runway Madness

Like I have mentioned in earlier posts, Events nowadays are ALL about lighting and Fashion Shows ALL about Runways. Some of the designers in fashion week have taken notice and included them in their show. Some of these have been Rodarte's, Y-3 & Marc Jacobs.

An Extravagant Lounge

The famous hospitality brand, Nikki Beach has gone beyond traditional "Pop-up Lounges" and has converted the 18th floor of the Park Hyatt into an extravagant lounge for the Toronto Film Festival. The results are incredible and the fun it's unstoppable.

It's almost Diva's time!

Tomorrow, Thursday September 17th, VH1 will bring back their highly anticipated Divas show with participation of Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, Jordin Sparks, Miley Cirus & Adele. Although we don't agree with ALL the choices it was ABOUT TIME!

An "Un-Bored" Premiere

Continuing with NYC busy Event week, the HBO series Bored to Death decided to throw their Season Premiere party in Manhattan, although the actual series is filmed in Brooklyn. The party was a change for HBO premieres given that these are usually celebrated in LA. It was definitely a detective setting with a hipster feeling - just like the show.

Let's go to High School!!!!

Since Glee, Fox's new comedy/musical series, is based on a group of students, what better way to celebrate their Season Premiere than  having a screening party in a High School. Guests had the opportunity of taking picking up their student ID's and watch a scene of the TV show.

A Infused Festival

Past Saturday, Soho Studios in Miami attracted thousands of guests to the Contagious Musiq's inaugural Future Classic Festival. They definitely obtained their goal of "trying to create a more enhanced event experience" giving guests the opportunity of interacting playing Wii, dancing or enjoying fashion and arts...a very CONTAGIOUS event indeed!

THIS is an Opening Gala!

The city of Toronto, Canada has been outdoing itself and throwing amazing events. Most recently, the Artifacts Rooms at Liberty Grand was transformed by Party Barbara Co., into an "underwater dream" for the opening gala of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). The results are breathtaking! Hope other film festivals are watching and learning.

Forget the clothes, it's ALL about the Runways...

....Well, not really but almost!

With NYC being so busy with Fashion Night Out, Fashion Week & the MTV VMA's, the sleep that never sleeps, is definitely not sleeping but instead having a marvelous time. Nowadays, instead of focusing only on the clothe designers have to attract their clientèle with spectacular runways and amazing new concepts. Here are 2 of the nicest runways, thanks to Jason Wu and Donna Karan. While, Gwen Stefani tried to think outside the box with a different exposure for  her SoCal collection for L.A.M.B...cool stuug, right?

After-Parties Galore

This weekend there was NO excuse to party in NYC, more so with the galore of celebrities in town to celebrate the VMA's. There were too many parties and too little time. While Ms. Lady Gaga celebrated her private after-party in NYC, Pete Wentz hosted his own Calvin Klein (CK Free fragance) party in his bar, Angels & Kings, meanwhile, Jay-Z not only had one but TWO parties to attend, the first one, the "official" MTV after-party in his famous 40/40 club and the other in Chelsea's 1Oak Still, do not worry since most celebrities "party-hopped" the entire night, regardless, it seems that Gaga's was the "craziest" after-party with "police asking them to close around 4:00AM." And these are just some of the "official" ones since there were MANY more "unofficial" parties to attend!

What an Event!

What a night or should we say weekend! Like most of you know, last night NYC welcomed once again the 2009 VMA's that took place in Radio City Music Hall (like old good times) and - in my opinion - ALL of the performances were great, with the exception of Kanye West unsolicited, unrequested and abrupt interruption to Taylor Swifts acceptance speech for Best Female Video. Regardless and even though I never like Russell Brand, the Awards show was best than previous years thanks to the performances. Also, the Tribute to Michael Jackson couldn't have been better presented (by Madonna) and executed by ALL the incredible dancers and his sister Janet Jackson. It was a remarkable production that will always be remembered. Click here for more wonderful pictures!

Doing Good while Looking Good

The Hollyood Palladium celebrated the 9th Annual Padres contra el Cancer "Sueño de Esperanza" Benefit Gala, that counted with the attendance of Paulina Rubio and Eva Longoria-Parker, among other guests. As an active member of the organization Mrs. Longoria-Parker assisted to the event looking stunning (like always or most of the times!). She has been extremely active in assisting the non-profit organization purpose of  helping Latino kids and their families are affected by Cancer.
